This Weeks Lesson
WELCOME TO PARENTS CORNER!
Parents! We know how hard it can be to raise kids in today’s culture. We want to partner with you to teach your children to love and trust Jesus.
Below you will find what we are teaching the children this week. Along with that we are providing some questions and scripture that you can use to take your children deeper into God’s word. We will also provide some activities and crafts that you can use to also teach your children about God.
Because it is so important to hide God’s word in our heart (Ps119:11), we are encouraging the children to memorize a verse quarterly. This quarter we have made the verse into a puzzle to make it more fun. Please see the verse attachment and print it off (copies are available at church). Work with your children daily on the verse to help them to memorize it.
Keep God’s Commands:
1. Worship God
2. Worship God and nothing else
3. Respect the name of God
4. Keep the Sabbath day holy
5. Honor your father and mother
6. Respect the life of others
7. Keep your marriage promises
8. Respect other peoples possessions
9. Tell the truth
10. Be happy with what you have Keep God’s Commands
