Acts 2:42-47, They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe: and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need. Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart. Praising God and having favor with all the people and the Lord was adding to their numbers day by day those who were being saved. NASB

The communities at Fellowship Church Lubbock are a place of fertile ground for the disciple of Christ to grow and mature. The communities create an environment where no believer stands alone. Here is a place where each can firmly plant their roots in faith and truth and not be left on stony ground or shallow soil.

A PLACE TO GROW

In Matthew 13 Jesus told a parable about soils and seed. The seed falling on the good soil yielded a crop (vs.8) and indeed bears fruit and produces (vs. 23), while the seed falling on stony ground (vs.5) had no roots to sustain the plant. Some seed fell in thorns (vs. 7) that choked out the plant. Some seed even fell by the wayside and were devoured (vs.4).
